A GREAT ST. PATRICK’S DAY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Bob and I joined the twins and some friends to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Lynagh’s Irish Pub and Grill in Lexington. I had my first Guinness with my girls! We enjoyed being there with Whitney and Cavan.  It was totally a fun day!

CHRISTMAS AT TWINBABY FARM

This Southern Momma goes to the farm every Christmas Eve to enjoy a traditional time with my daughters, Blue Moon and Guinness.  This Christmas was no different.  We made sausage balls, country ham and biscuits, cookies, played cards, drank eggnog, and had a wonderful time.  On Christmas morning we have coffee and more sausage balls for breakfast and then cook Christmas dinner. This year we did not make nearly as much as we usually do and it was nice not to be rushed.  Fahanuh Man came over and we all sat down to a great meal of ham, macaroni and cheese, barley casserole, mashed potatoes and dessert.

The girls have a new kitchen table that is huge and we really enjoyed sitting around the table talking and laughing.  It made such a big difference in their space and will be a great addition to the place.  The doggies enjoyed being able to celebrate with us.

Some pictures of the kitchen and den at the farm. Also, the barn and field with the horses eating hay in the snow.

It was a great Christmas at the farm with great food, company, and traditions.

HANGING OUT AT CROSSROADS ARENA

One of the best parts of going to a barrel racing competition is getting to hang out with friends and fellow competitors around the horse trailers, cooking out on the grill and just enjoying the comraderie.

This is The Blonde Rodeo Girl and Blue Moon having a great time while eating some good barbecued food.

Folks, they actually sleep, eat and live in these horse trailers when on the road.  Most are equipped with beds, bathrooms, and showers and some sort of cooking facilities.  Usually they grill out though when the weather is good.

This is The Rodeo Man cooking food on the grill for the girls.  The Rodeo Man and The Blonde Rodeo Girl are a cute couple and great friends to the girls.

Can’t you just smell those brats cooking on the grill?

Oh my God!  Looks like they over loaded that grill with brats and the legs fell off!!!!!!!!  Never fear, Blue Moon and The Blonde Rodeo Girl are there to save the day and prop it up with a big block of wood.  Where there’s a will, there’s a way and never a dull moment with this bunch!

QUARTER HORSE RACING AT THE RED MILE IN LEXINGTON, KY!

This is a photo of Blue Moon, The Blonde Rodeo Girl, and Guinness taken at the Red Mile quarter horse races.  The twins love this time of the year and this event and never miss it.  They always meet up with friends and have a great time.

Kentucky is famous for its beautiful women and fast horses and these girls sure are pretty.  They have some fast quarter horses in Kentucky, too!

Want to see some more pictures of pretty women and a good looking man?  Check out the ones posted below!

Sweet Girl Pal, Long Tall Rodeo Girl, and Blue Moon enjoying the races!

The Blonde Rodeo Girl and her Rodeo Man.

These girls and guy all had a great night at the races.

THERE’S A NEW HORSE ON THE HOMEFRONT!

Ladies and gentlemen meet Wheels!  This is Blue Moons new rodeo horse!  Every cowgirl needs at least two horses.  Wheels Horse will give the Big Rodeo Man a break whenever he is sore or just needs a rest from barrel racing. He is shown in the picture with Blue Moon.  She loves this little horse.

Thought I would throw in this great picture of Greeley the cat, too. Greeley is such a good mouser. She keeps the barn free of those little varmits and hangs out with the horses.

The girls had a busy summer with friends, going to rodeos, and the World Equestrian Games.

This is a great picture of Guinness with the Roan Guy taken this summer, too.

There”s more to come in the next few days on these two!
